After many successful years of growth a UK charity recognised the environment in which it was operating was changing swiftly. The CEO engaged us to work with the executive team navigating them through the development of their strategic framework and subsequent operational plan.

We were then engaged to work with them on how to present this to the Board of Trustees; coaching the team through the delivery, effective presentational styles and how to respond to the challenges they may face.

Finally we facilitated the meeting between the Trustees and the Executive team to assist in a successful session to move the process forward.

Our client, a well known brand, had invested heavily over a period of about 12 months in a complex technology project to underpin their business, bringing in-house a previously outsourced solution. They began getting concerned as dates slipped and delivery looked threatened. Our role was to perform an 'in-flight review' to establish the real progress and identify the risks associated with the programme.

After a few days it became clear that there was little project governance or co-ordination across the disparate suppliers and that the chances of a successful deployment were remote. Our findings were presented to the new CEO and investors, along with the options to move forward.

Our advice was taken. We wound the project down in a managed fashion, negotiating the business out of agreements with the new suppliers and agreeing a commercial arrangement with the incumbent to continue its services supporting the business moving forward.

A FTSE 100 plc was seeking to gain greater cross-selling opportunities within one of its divisions. The executive running the division felt that the management team were not leveraging other opportunities within key clients as they were unable to simply articulate the value other areas of the business could potentially bring.

The project entailed developing a communication framework and workshops that moved the team away from describing what their various entities did, to describing how the value they may be able to bring. This moved the focus away from a technical description to a business led conversation.
